It was great to see those homers by Cust and Giambi yesterday. Also great that Slusser used the word "slumpingest" in the first sentence of her write-up.
The fact that Dallas Braden comes out to "Welcome to Stockton" when he pitches might be THE A's-iest thing of all time. Seriously. It is so A's-ey!
The Uni Watch blog is ridiculously observant.
Did you know that Arthur Rhodes is still around? Yeah, no kidding, he is a Red. We saw him on SportsCenter last night. And he was pitching to Ramon Hernandez, also a Red, no less. True to form, he almost had a meltdown. But he actually ended up getting out of a bases loaded jam. We are shocked that he is still in the big leagues.
It was great to see O-Cab extend his hitting streak in his first at-bat yesterday. Go Fozzie!
It was also great to see both the Angels and the Giants lose in dramatic walk-off fashion.
Final great thing we will mention today: It is great that the A's are going to play a crappy team right now. We're hoping they can build a little momentum.
Go A's!
I'm so glad to be back in the Bay so that I can properly keep up with the green and gold. Let's go A's!
