How Ridiculous Were All Those Injuries Last Night? Seriously, That Was Insane.

That is the most funny and most sad photo I've ever seen. It kind of reminds me of my theory that all the billions of wings sold at Wing Stop come from chickens who are now bandaged up, leaning on crutches, missing a wing.
Anyhow, last night was crazy. My 90-year old grandma has stronger calves than anyone on the A's roster, and that's from standing in the kitchen, baking delicious pyrogies her entire adult life!!! We lose almost 10% of our 40 man roster to calf injuries!?!!? Brett Anderson was cruising until the blister...so sad. Very frustrating loss. Still waiting for that Holliday homer...I'm thinking today or tomorrow, he'll hit a pop up and it'll drift out.
Matt has in effect, "taken a holiday" from hitting home runs. Maybe this rain will give time for the A's to reflect. Perhaps they can bond in Arlington. Not sure what there is to do there. Go to a mini mall? Strip club? Six Flags?
Arlington is "Fun Central" according to arlington.org. The late Bill King detested the city, (mainly for it's weather) and would go out of his way to avoid broadcasting from there.
