The A's are so uninspiring lately that even the A's Avenger family aren't wearing their usual flair. At last night's game, our favorite family who are usually bedecked in more green and gold than our eyeballs can stand were wearing Stockton Ports stuff! And although we enjoyed getting our Milton Bradley bobbleheads (which are less creepy than normal bobbleheads because Milton is depicted wearing sunglasses and hence no beady eyes) and while we are so glad that Milton is going to be back in the lineup this week, last night's game was majorly depressing. Lenny DiNardo pitched better than we had expected him to, but was not so good with the fielding. And Ronnie Wash really turned the mojo in the Rangers' favor by giving out signed Texas hats to all the people who sit in the front row on the third base side. Somehow that resulted in the A's having no offense at all and looking at times pretty shoddy on defense. We believe in the bright side though, and we have been worrying that Ron Washington's job is in danger if the Rangers don't start winning. So we are glad we could help him out. But it is now time for the A's to just do this. Come on!
Thank God for Danny Haren.
