i was trying to explain "Wear It" to my friend, who happens to be a giants fan. i explained it like this: "It's an A's thing, it's all over the place in Aces. It means own your performance, no excuses, no blame. Catch a tough break? Wear it. Make a bad pitch? Wear it. Date a sorority girl? Wear it." He responded: "pass the chardonnay. it's a giants thing. like oh benitez just gave up a 2 run homer. who's benitez? pass the chardonnay. durham just hit into another double play. huh? dur who? is double play like double down? pass the chardonnay. or hey the dodgers just beat us-- dodgers? i thought we were playing the rockies! pass the chardonnay. oh damn, that girl's cute..."
